Hum,
so actually it really seems you intend to use the contact in partner_id in the order or the invoice, as many I didn't even expect that was the intended behavior in v7. Even if we forget about reporting issues I mentioned, there are many other open issues with such approach today. Hopefully I will find time to post about it in the accounting expert list in the very next days. All I can say is beware things seems heavily broken today if you use it this way.
