Hello phil,

Let me give my "Opinion" here.

When you install the accounting apllication then no need to edit the pricelist because on accouting application (even in invoice) don't used the pricelist any where.

Pricelist are used only on Sales and purchase module, when you sales something or purchase something. So as per my Opinion no need to show the pricelist menu when only account module is installed.
Pricelist menu is set under Salespricelist/Purchase Pricelist group which is fine but these groups are not shown when only Account module is installed.

So finally sales/purchase pricelist menu visible only when sale/purchase application is installed.

Please provide your Opinion also on this.
