That's rather weird, can't imagine why that is at the moment. However, even where it appears to work, I expect this to only pause auto-show for 30 minutes, as that is what auto-hide on key-press does (by default).

Please try disabling auto-hide on key-press and have 201/200 as hotkeys for tablet-mode detection.
