Ritesh, no special reason, other than that extension already existed. If Simon doesn't mind, I'll still add it to gnome-shell-extension-onboard.

I would be surprised if the extension addressed the "onboard not available in overview" issue, though. In my testing, showing Onboard wasn't possible at all in the overview, only at password prompts, and there it became unresponsive. Our extension does what Simon's here does

that is, showing Caribou whenever Onboard can't do it.

I believe we can improve on this only with a clutter frontend. I had actually worked on this for a while, but it stalled at maybe 50% progress. It's a huge can of worms.
