OK, I'll mark this one as a duplicate of the above X server bug then. Too bad, I thought it was fixed.

Create a new bug for the CPU issue please. Perhaps against Onboard again, there were some changes in 0.98 that could possibly cause higher CPU usage. I'll move it if Onboard is innocent.
Best do it with
$ ubuntu-bug onboard

I can understand you just fine, don't worry. We're not native speakers either.
