This is still broken in Oneiric (evince-3.2.0-0ubuntu1.) The property "enable-gestures" is installed with the property G_PARAM_CONSTRUCT_ONLY and can't be changed after the GtkWidget is constructed. (And drag-to-scroll is seriously borked, so I'd really like to be able to disable gesture support!)

Hi Brian,

This bug is for the initial implementation. It was merged and thus this bug is now considered fixed. However, you are right that there is an issue with the implementation. Someone else filed a bug #873866 about this. Please consider clicking the "This affects me too" button at the top of the bug report.

I am also guessing that your issues with two finger scrolling may be found in bug #874660.
