I do not need to work with the kernel team. This does not need a kernel
change. If I change my mind, I know where to find the kernel team at
short notice.

Why, when I say "I intend to work on this for 9.10 final", do you need
to repeat twice that this needs to be resolved in final? Please leave me
to get on with my work - I've targeted this bug in such a way that it
will not be forgotten.
