tested the daily isoś for Xubuntu and Kubuntu 20200928 and also received failures to boot
in UEFI mode on the Lenovo V14 IIL,Intel Core i3-1005G!,8GB,256GB SSD box.

I then tried Lubuntu,Kubuntu and Xubuntu using releases 20.04.1 and had no problems booting in UEFI+secure boot.
