Found this after doing a lot of research and testing both with ubuntu, popOs and Zorin. I'm also on MSI Prestige 15 A10SC and get either a black screen or the memory leak (happened only with ubuntu) when trying to boot the live usb. The only workaround I've found is to change from UEFI boot to Legacy in my bios, that seems to work to boot the usb, but on the other hand I get error after installing the OS (pop os) since (I believe) i'm in legacy and not UEFI boot.

This might be relevant for this investigation, the logs are from PopOS when I'm in Legacy mode in Bios, successfully booted the usb and full install, this fails in the end:
