The term you're looking for is workaround, not triage or fixes. Triage is the process of understanding the bug and marking it the correct things.
Not using the same language as everyone else and writing very long comments makes it hard to understand.
First I thought you reported an out of memory issue on Pis. Then I thought you were saying that the fix doesn't help. It took me a long while to realize it was completely irrelevant for the process of resolving that bug.
If the initrd grows significantly please open a separate bug against linux so that is tracked - maybe something went wrong - and leave a comment here.
