It would be very helpful if you told more about the bug you are now seeing. Are you saying that if you are opening the file test.php that hobbes supplied you get the error in https://bugs.launchpad.net/nxhtml/+bug/354363 or do you get a similar error (but that is perhaps a very different error)?

And can you please report the error in tidy? I have no idea what error you get and under what circumstances.
