I have the same problem
but it't ok in MS Win XP

my temporary solution:

(setq ad-redefinition-action 'discard) ;; <-- insert
(load "~/.emacs.d/nxhtml/autostart.el")

my environment:
Debian Lenny
GNU Emacs 23.0.91.1
nXhtml mode version 1.76
