Comment 45 for bug 300946

To be clear, he "space overflow" message shows up in *Warnings*, not *Messages* (which is empty), and shows up with both "emacs -Q" and just plain "emacs". (I get unrelated errors when I load my .emacs, because the fresh build doesn't find some system elisp packages.)
