Remember, if you use an officially unsupported driver (such as a driver downloaded from nVidia directly, as opposed to installing one from the Ubuntu archives) it is not officially supported. Hence the adjective 'unsupported'.

The line 'Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0"' indicates a problem with your video driver installation. That's at least an indication as to where to start troubleshooting your problem.
