I can't believe this bug has 9 years and still going... Dolphin/Konqueror insist in moving deleted files to /home/user/.local/share/Trash instead of deleting to $topdir/.Trash/$uid. I am using Debian Wheezy and KDE 4.8.4. I have no problems when using an USB flash drive, it correctly creates a .Trash-1000 folder and moves deleted files there.

But my OS is installed on a 30GB SSD, and I store all my files (small and big) on a Freenas NAS with ZFS. I have used several distributions and several file managers and ALL them use $topdir/.Trash-$uid. Even with a fresh installation, when I mount my NFS shares the trash icon on the desktop changes to the "full" icon. Nautilus, PCmanFM, Thunar, even xfe handle the trash thing beautifully.
