But it would be still a good idea if KDE could create a .Trash folder as root with a sticky bit, when a user wants to trash an item in a non-home partition. Maybe it should just ask the user what to do, like this:
- Do you want to use the trash on this partition (faster, but root password required once)?
- Do you want to use the trash on your home partition for this partition (slower)?
- Do you want to disable trash for this partition (faster, but deleted files cannot be restored)?
