In my opinion the Comodo debacle constitutes a sufficiently crass act of stupidity that it does not warrant further commentary from me - what needed to be said has already been said by others.

I find this argument unconvincing at best; you have already proven your point to the community who will (hopefully) take appropriate action swiftly. If you plan to take action outside of the community then you don't need the key online, nor for that matter the mozilla.com key when you have one for one of your own domains. Indeed you could prove you previously had it by signing something with it prior to destruction.

Nonetheless, many thanks for drawing our attention to this serious issue.
