Comment 13 for bug 907269

I've test hard coding the partition number to 1 in the Mount class (nova/virt/disk/mount.py) and the instance
boot without errors. I think it would be safe to use the first partition with a image of the type raw + use_qcow=true in
nova config + lxc as a backend combination.
