@Taihsiang: The attached nova-compute log does not show any DEBUG logs. Also it does not show the reproduction of the reported problem. I only saw to instances spawned successfully.
Also please compare the hash of the downloaded .part file with the hash of the image stored in glance to rule out the case when the downloaded file is corrupted in transfer.
