Since aggregates have now merged the behavior is not a big problem.

It could be argued that the pre-1.1 microversion representation of a resource provider should be changed not to show aggregates, but if that's the case we should make a specific bug for that. The representation on 1.1 and beyond is now correct with regard to these links.
