Would you please attach the "nova-conductor" log as well? That's the
service which handles the communication with the database. The issue
sounds a little like a race-condition. Please switch the status back
to "New" after you attached the nova-conductor log.
HINT: You can also use "sosreport" to collect the information of a node:
$ sudo sosreport -o openstack_nova --batch
