have you been able to launch any instances in your cloud yet?
There's one thing I check before I upload any images to glance, I make sure that the image has a partition table. You can find more details in [0].
Depending on your hypervisor and the images it's possible that the image is missing kernel modules. I had to deal with that when trying to migrate Xen instances to KVM [1].
You could also create your own image by installing from an iso and see if that image works [2].
There's also a mailing list for these kind of questions [3], I believe the chances for help are better here.
And last but not least visit [4], also very helpful.
