Comment 6 for bug 1445637

I'm aware of the ability to do this via cinder quota but why force this as the only option? By applying this via host aggregates I can generically control users rather than having to individually manage their instances on a per-volume basis. Given this is done for ephemeral volumes can you explain why a solution in nova will be abandoned?
