Hi I've been looking around and I'm pretty confident that it's the same bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1418221 - which is fixed on upstream libvirt 1.2.13 (https://libvirt.org/news.html "PowerPC : Forbid NULL CPU model with 'host-model' mode. (Prerna Saxena)" ) and partially addressed, per comment https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1418221/comments/7 on vivid.
I just left a comment asking them to backport Prerna's patch to utopic.
