It sounds like this patch has improved the robustness, but not 100% fixed it; however it has not regressed it. Therefore are there any objections to calling this bug verification-done so that sru can complete?

I think in order to push further on the robustness, we will need some specific stress testing scripts - not involving a full openstack setup - which can be run against versions 0.9.8, 1.1.1, and 1.2.x.
