Path-length is one influence factor. Under hybird vif-driver, packet traverses through 2 extra linux bridges, to get to destination VM.

Also, we strongly suspect 2 extra veth device pairs might be another influence factor. As shown in our test, the performance of veth device is not as good as ovs patch port.
