Hi, thanks for your report.

I have Windows 7 with Internet explorer 9 myself but I'm unable to reproduce your problem.
But from your description I think that maybe nixory is having problems accessing your profile for some reason.

Try the following: uncheck all your profiles in the preferences window and enable the active shield. Does nixory remain responsive?

If yes, then please make sure to select ONLY the profiles you are sure are accessible. If it doesn't help, I guess I need you to use the source code version and see what kind of error it returns.
