Just I performed the following :
sudo ppa-purge xorg-edgers
and then the dist upgrade proceeded very smoothly. Thanks a lot for great advice.

TEST CASE:
1. Install a minimal Saucy amd64 (lxc container or VM)
2. Install software-
$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:xorg-edgers/ppa
3. Install the task ubuntu-desktop
$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop^
4. Upgrade:
$ sudo do-release-upgrade -d
ACTUAL RESULT:
Upgrade fails because it refuses to break the ABI of xorg.
