Note: this issue is still causing problems for users of Tahoe-LAFS. The Tahoe-LAFS developers are making some progress on replacing our use of Nevow with twisted.web.template (https://tahoe-lafs.org/trac/tahoe-lafs/ticket/1963), but it will probably be at least a year or two before that work gets into the hands of the majority of our current users, and they would benefit sooner from a new stable release of Nevow which fixes this issue.
