Comment 2 for bug 2065790

i honestly think this is a neuton bug and should be fixed by normalising the mac in neutron when the user provides one to be lowercase with : instead of -

this is the second time that someone has proposed a patch to modify nova to workaround this input normaliasiation bug in neutron so i would at least like to get input form the neutron folks as to why they are not normalising this in there api.
