Bear in mind that a fresh patch based off of master is only the first step to assess the feasibility of this effort. Maintenance, testing and documentation of the new architectural option for SNAT must be something that the Neutron team will have to sign up for. Currently we are stretched thin and we are more than happy to scout for volunteers. @Igor: are you ready for this long term commitment? :)
