I think patch #92018 nails the issue.
However, I don't want this bug to be reopened.
Otherwise we'll get into the habit of reopening it everytime the network does not work.

If you agree, I would even remove it from e-r query and file a new bug report for the malfunctioning which patch 92018 is fixing.
