IRC my problem was _only_ with the _wired_ part of NM: I was unable to use my wire connection after a suspend and/or after wifi. I did as directed in https:/
It's been one month long and I never had the problem again. So for me the correction is effective.
My laptop is a Dell Inspiron 630m and lspci returns:
