Comment 3 for bug 881535

I can confirm these issue on my eeePc for many default application dialogs. I'm not sure what the best way would be to improve this (I dont think stopping gnome apps from blocking resizing is a good idea) but I will say that this is a big problem for me when upgrading to a new version of Ubuntu. Some of the upgrade dialogs cannot be easily adjusted in size and the only way I can press the continue button is to hit the tab key and hope its in the right place before hitting enter.

 I can accept that some applications might not suit eeePcs and I'm willing to work around these issues but any essential Ubuntu dialogs such as the upgrade dialogs should be reworked to be more friendly to smaller screens.
