Bug Description
When running the netbook-launcher on my Compaq Evo N610c (which, admittedly, is not a netbook) with a Mobility Radeon 7500, performance is a little sluggish, but mostly acceptable.
However, after putting the laptop on suspend, netbook-launcher is much slower on resume. I would say it is about 30% slower. After each suspend/resume cycle, netbook-launcher gets slower and slower until it is virtually unusable. `killall netbook-launcher && netbook-launcher` restores the launcher back to full speed.
This bug is only reproducible with netbook-launcher. When doing a suspend/resume cycle while running glxgears, glxgears' framerate does not drop at all.
Also, I have an Eee 901 with Intel 945 graphics. This bug does not occur on the Eee -- it only appears to occur on the Mobility Radeon.

Right, it seems to be an issue with the radeon. The launcher has code which makes it restart on the first suspend/resume cycle (this is due to a Intel video driver bug), but then it won't resize after a resume until the unit it restarted. Maybe it would help to have an option which always restarts it?
It may be interesting to see what happens to something like, say Elisa or glxgears if you leave them running during a suspend/resume cycle, to make sure it is a driver issue.
