I've accepted the patch with modifications into series/3.4.x: http://metanav.uninett.no/hg/series/3.4.x/rev/7130e68945fc

The modification to arnold.py was unnecessary, because the pysnmp imports in it were unused. Instead, I've committed a separate changeset to series/3.4.x to remove those unused imports entirely.
