Bug Description
Not at all a big problem, but I thought I'd report this anyway -- When the extra pane is enabled, the mini view widget button doesn't display for the second pane (as expected), but an empty button appears where it might have been. The button does nothing and should be removed.

indeed because the view is not initialized until the pane got focus
i started looking into it but didn't find any good solution yet.
this bug is linked to Bug #588013
