Bug Description
For as long as MyUnity is running it causes constant writes to disk. System Load Indicator reports about 250 kB/s and iotop reports about 15 K/s from a process with the command gconfd-2. It looks as though MyUnity doesn't store the configuration upon actual changes made by the user but rather periodically, regardless of whether the user changed anything.
Ubuntu version: 11.10
MyUnity version: 3.0.0-0ubuntu1~

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug.
Looks like you are using a package which is not part of Ubuntu, rather is installed by an unofficial PPA. Therefore, I'm closing this bug as invalid.
Nonetheless, I guess upstream is interested in your report, hence I am forwarding the bug to them.
In case you think this bug shouldn't be closed, or if you can reproduce the bug with myunity package as taken from Ubuntu archive, please feel free to reopen it.
