Is this when populating the queue? Or creating playlists to be played later?

Is the freeze reproducible if you follow the steps again after a reboot?

If it is are you able to attach the music-app log, from /home/phablet/.cache/upstart/*com.ubuntu.music*.log

Therefore until further information is provided, I'm going to mark this bug as incomplete.
