progress bar not updated between media switches

Bug Description

Sometimes the progressbar is not updated fast enough when the user switches between different media.

Steps to reproduce:
 - start a video of a source that needs time to load (happens here with youtube)
 - let it play so that you can clearly see the progressbar (20-30% at least, so choose a short video ;) )
 - got back to the menu and select another video of the same source

Current result:
 - when the player shows up again you can see the progressbar to be still at the position of the media before (it shows up very shortly between showing the buffering animation...)

Expected result:
 - the player should not show the old position anylonger as the old media was already stopped

Easily reproducible with youtube videos.
The OSD needs to be cleaned when stopping the playback or starting to play another media.
