I removed the incriminated code from metadata_manager in [https://code.fluendo.com/elisa/trac/changeset/3879 changeset 3879].

To be completely happy, we need to implement _the_ idea on which everyone agreed that avoids duplicates due to different case: at the database level, comparing in lowercase but inserting with the real case.
