What sound devices do you have enabled? Any inputs (aux or microphone) configured?

Does the sound appear in a recording?

Could you post a log file? (i.e. ~/.mixxx/mixxx.log right after shutting down mixxx when it happens)

Is this repeatable or intermittent?
