Thank you for warming up this thread.

I like your ideas and mock-up. It is really good looking.
Somehow like two smart phones side by side ;-)

The approach to make it accessible from skins seams to be working this way as well.

There is one thing I am worrying about: usability.
Can we add a way to change the view by one click.
Maybe we still need a fixed Bar with some controls or infos or drop targets.
any ideas

I wish I had unlimited time to start working on this.
