Mixxx has never had accurate BPM detection so by that reasoning using any beat related feature in Mixxx 1.10 will fall flat. This is a perfectly good argument for option #3 above, and I already listed this in the PRO section for 3.
You were arguing for option #1 by saying that it was useless to even allow beatloops to be placed without quantization. I believe the above example disproves this. Does it not?
