I just committed a new and improved midiObjectAlsa in r2442. Testing with that for about a half hour, I didn't get any skipped data on the SCS.3d. The downside is that RawMIDI uses polling which takes up alot of CPU.
Could others please test with this implementation? Build mixxx with scons rawmidi=1 debug=1
