Thanks, it seems to be just one or two tracks doing this so we've removed
them!!
But can you help re my prob with Vista and not being able to use mp3 files
with Mixxx?

mixx brings up error report and closes unexpectedly in the middle of playing
a track, on Windows XP, has happened several times running, not always the
same song (on my partner's laptop). Has been used previously for DJing with no
