The automatic beat detection, constant and variable, does not deliver a 100% correct result. Some songs fluctuate, some change the speed very much for stylistic reasons. Some drummers are no good. It doesn't matter, that's the way it is. If you want the beats to sit correctly here, this is not possible with the current software.

My request is to extend the manual editing of the beats with...
1. Being able to move a single beat.
2. add a single beat.
3. delete a single beat.
4. Use a marker and move all beats forward or backward from here to the end of the song. The current position in the song could serve as a marker.

In addition, it would be nice to add attributes to a beat manually. These should be color coded in the displayed waveform.
1. Mark as the start beat of a bar. Mostly every 4 beats.
2. Mark as the start beat of a phrase. Usually every 16 beats = 4 bars

Once you have processed the beats in this way, there are other possibilities.
1. Connected devices such as drum machines or lighting systems can be controlled more precisely. Provided the attributes per beat are available for MIDI output.
2. The AutoDJ could at the thread sync the transition (middle position) exactly to a phrase (preferred) or bar on both songs.
3. It's easier for beginners to find a good transition point.
4. You could also have the decks synchronized with each other on bar and phrase.
5. New function: Delay song start until next bar or phrase synchronicity.

Thanks
