I would love a few simple tools for managing the play History.
1) "delete history entries with less than N entries" (where N can be 1 by default). Sometimes I open Mixxx and play a song to check something. I would love to get rid of these moments automatically from history.
2) Day of Week in Tooltip. I'm sure many DJs play on a certain day of the week at certain venues. It'd be great if I could know "2016-07-29" was a Friday, for example.
3) Session Start Time. When a new history entry is created, it'd be great to know what time the first song was played; then I would know if this is from a prep session that day, or from being live. |
(this bug previously had multiple things, but some have been solved)
Ultimately this issue is about having some assistance with the histories I've got. I would love to know what time my history started and what day of the week it was.
ronso0 points out that enabling "Timestamp" column in the History list kinda solves knowing when the playlist was created, but I think ultimately
it would just be nice to have a tooltip that said "Thu Jul 29, 2038 21:04" when I mouseover the histories. (I don't care what time all the other song started.)
Alternatively, having some control in how the history name is created would be kinda cool "Www YYYY-MM-DD" too. |
