I think this dicovers a usability issue:
The users wants to remove the chain from the selector, they is not aware that there is a hidden list of chains in the chain manager.
The popup warning us created from inside the chain manager, which has no context in which the delete action is performed.
I think this is a design issue.
We may either hide the fact of the hidden list or make it visible.
A bandaid would be to change to give more context int the warning message.
Something like:
"The chain is no longer referenced and will be deleted irrecoverably. Proceed?"
