Bug Description

2.2.0-rc (build 2.2 r6635)
macOS 10.14.2 (18C54)

The `Restore defaults` buttons in the preferences do work different, depending on the current page.

Clicking `Restore defaults` instantly works on:
* Vinyl Control
* Decks
* Equalizers.
   Except non-default settings for `Master EQ` , appears to be a bug on its own.
* Recording
* Key detection
   Key Notation checkbox works only after page switch.
* Modplug-Decoder
* Normalization
   Analysis settings work only after page switch.

Clicking `Restore defaults` works when switching to another page and back:
* Sound Hardware
* Library
* Waveforms
* Auto-DJ
* Beat detection
   Beat analyzer selector instantly changes though

Clicking `Restore defaults` does nothing:
* Effects.
   Would expect effects that were set to invisible become set to `Visible` again. Not sure if this is a design decision.
* Live broadcasting

The button should work instantly, and the settings should visibly change, no matter the current page.

I cannot confirm this on Ubuntu Trusty using the recent 2.2.0.

For example:
* At Hardware preference
* Change Buffer to "2.9 ms"
* Press restore Defaults
* It is instantly back to 23.2

Is this a screen refresh issue on Mac OS?
